We have updated SME Professional today with a new “End tenancy” menu option found in the tenants’ menu. This area looks to streamline the move-out process by bringing together steps that were previously carried out on separate pages. When notice has been given by the occupants of a property this section can be completed straight away. The page will set the move out dates of the tenants, remove rent reminders after the move out, and work out the pro rata amount for the final payment where applicable. Please try it out, and as with any new functionality please feel free to provide feedback.
We have a lot of new areas to the software near to release which we will be in touch about soon.
SME Professional can now integrate with Google Calendars, allowing your team to see their viewings and other appointments on their mobile phones. Contact us for more details on how to set this up.
The team has been rapidly expanding over the summer months.
Many of you will already have been working closely with Sam who joined in May after graduating from the University of Stirling. Sam is part of our web developer team – he has been creating some fantastic new sites for our customers and is now becoming more involved in the software development of SME Professional.
Albert joined in August and is leading up our custom software design business for non-property management software. Albert bring many years of experience in Cloud based software design.
Last week we welcomed Matthieu to the team. Matthieu will be concentrating on our fast growing website design company, which is now trading under the name of Lyles Sutherland Limited.
Many of you will have already visited our new offices in Edinburgh. We are now located in the old and beautiful Leith Corn Exchange – the office is a fantastic mix of modern contemporary design set within a historic building. It is a fantastic space, and we look forward to growing our team there. If anyone is passing, please feel to drop by for a coffee at any time.
